Only about 6 weeks after I started employment here, I found out that I would be needing an urgent surgery that would have me off work for up to two months. I was surprised that not only was I given the time off with no problems whatsoever, Target provided me my full salary during the time off (truly a blessing). Also, my manager -- and his manager -- both called me before and after my leave to check in on me and generally showed support like I had never experienced with any previous employer.
